AREA INFORMATION
Awakening
from the quiet and gentle sleep of village life, South Kuta (often referred
to as Tuban) is now Bali's all encompassing family destination. South
Kuta still retains the charm of village life - with two main Hindu temples
and traditional ceremonies galore, - yet it has every amenity to satisfy
the most discerning traveler.
First,
our resort is strategically located in South Kuta, just north of Ngurah
Rai International Airport. While other arrivals are still in transit
to their hotels, Ramada Bintang
Bali guests are already enjoying the beach or in the pool.
Besides
a wealth of international hotel restaurants - spanning from rooftop
barbecues to beachside pizzerias, fine Chinese food to varied Japanese
- there are scores of restaurants lining the streets of South Kuta.
Some of Bali's newest international chain restaurants are located in
Tuban Resort, along with quiet and intimate eateries and fun themed
pubs.
Tuban
is home to two of Bali's newest and most exciting shopping complexes,
Kuta Centre and Kuta Square, besides the traditional Art Market. Combined
with roadside shops and boutiques there's a little bit of everything
for sale in Tuban, from designer goods to T-shirts, fine wood carvings
to kitschy toys.
While
several South Kuta hotels have children's activities programs, there's
a lot more to keep families entertained. Kids and adults alike enjoy
Bali's only water park, Waterbom, with aquatic slides and rides as well
as quiet gardens with pools for relaxation. Among Tuban Resort's newest
family attractions are go kart racing and a bowling alley.
A
visit to Bali is not complete without a dip in the sea. Tuban's beaches
are among the safest on Bali and stretches of beach are protected by
the Blue Flag program. Splendid sunsets right along the beach make Tuban
the perfect place to start your Bali stay and end the day. Tuban Resort
truly is a world of its own.
